Windows Defender found a trojan virus
After i did a full scan with Windows Defender, it found a trojan Wacatac.B!ml on msinfo32.exe, as shown in the picture. Should i be worried and maybe format my computer, or is this something known to happen and it's not actually a virus?

certainly sounds like a false positive because it was found on a wine file

Have other people reported something like this happening before? i've looked through the support here and github's but didn't find much, found a similar one but not on a wine file

nope. but I never trusted Windows Defender all that much
The issue with Heroic installing Wine on Windows is recent (only happens in the latest release). Since that's what's tripping it up, it wouldn't happen with older versions (meaning in the past)

Oh i see, i did find it a little weird since wine is for playing on linux (as far as i know that's it's purpose) and was on the windows heroic installer, but thought it could be that it's just something that comes as a tool on every version of heroic and not discarded on the windows installer, but now it makes a lot more sense to why this only happened recently and not on past scans. Thank you both for your insights and opinions, i appreciate the help.

What VirusTotal[dot]com say about the file?
