Is this suit jacket salavagable

Picked up this suit off ebay and and I love the trousers and the material. The shoulders are both wider and way more padded than I anticipated. Question is would removing the pads make it slouchy and workable, or is it beyond saving? If you need more photos let me know

The shoulders are a matter of personal preference. I like the lapels in the low buttoning point. It is definitely too long and overall a bit too big, so you need to have it tailored. It is not Beyond saving, I don't think.

i like it as is 🙈 shoulders especially shoulders will likely be more expensive to tailor than the length but also yeah i don’t think it’s cooked

depending on the shape of the shoulder pad/shoulder cap, removing may be more trouble than its worth imo the slouchy feel may come from styling - pants set a little lower, oversized/unbuttoned shirt, tee or tank instead of button up, dangling belt tail, etc.

Just style it with the big slouchy vibes or resell/return. not worth it to ruin the jacket trying to get it to fit more traditionally
