This is more of a OS question but I don’t know where else to ask for help

I went to boot up my laptop this morning to play some games and it’s been stuck on this screen all day I’ve tried powering it off and on several times but it hasn’t loaded yet my mouse pops up on the screen and I can load into the BIOS so I don’t think it’s a screen issue but I got no clue what’s going on

if you press ctrl+alt+f3 you can swap to another "tty" https://askubuntu.com/questions/66195/what-is-a-tty-and-how-do-i-access-a-tty
Ask Ubuntu
What is a tty, and how do I access a tty?
I keep hearing about these things known as tty's. what are they how can I access them what do they do?

if you can't swap to another tty, i suggest posting on KDE's forum for better help https://discuss.kde.org/tag/neon

you could check the journal i'm not 100% sure what it is for your distro, but i think it's journalctl --boot=-1 or journalctl -b -1 that will pull up the logs for the last boot sequence, not the current one

yeah, so you can scroll down in that and look for any errors. you can use page down or page up to navigate them i'm no expert on how to read those, but if something looks odd you can post it here

Grub stuck on splash screen
Just installed KDE Neon 6.2 to evaluate. It’s not even possible to switch to the alternative text consoles(?) So I tried the second entry in the grub advanced boot options (sad...
