I am having issues with DH not showing the LOD chunks at all. It says it's on in the options, but I don't see any changes from before at all, besides the chunks at the edge of my render distance get a bit shaded

Furthermore, after installing DH, some of my shader packs broke/dont work anymore.

You should send your
latest.log
file to provide additional useful information.
Logs are usually located in the .minecraft/logs
directory.
On Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\logs
On Linux: ~/.minecraft/logs
On Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/logs
Please upload the file to mclo.gs instead of sending the raw file. This makes reading the contents of the file a lot easier and improves the chances of you getting the help needed.

So I tried this and it didn't work. I also tried setting the other settings that say "May conflict with shaders" in the config toml file to false, and it still doesn't work. Instead it just crashes my game when I load in without a crash report and only says Exit Code 6.
Could there be another mod besides Alexs cave that isn't compatible with DH?

I think I got it working now. I had to have Distant Horizons turned off when I load into the world, only then can I turn it on after joining so it wont crash. However, my next issue now is that none of my shaders work with it. The ones I tried from the github list just crashes my game as well.

Do the shaders work with just dh, oculus and embeddium?
I am using oculus/embeddium on Forge for 1.20.1. After adding DH, and now setting Alexs cave settings to false, shaders only work when DH is off. If I turn on my old shaders i had from a while ago, it just doesnt do anything, but if I turn on more recent versions of those shaders I just got, it would crash my game.

yea i just tried that. Only embeddium, oculus, and DH installed and it crashed
alright, now only 1 shaders semi? works with it: the latest sildurs. I only tested lite and medium and they dont crash now, but im not able to see any DH chunks with it on. It also still eventually crashes completely randomly I think
I don’t think Sildurs have DH support

I don’t see it on the compatible shaders list and as far as I know it hasn’t been updated for a long time so it never even had a chance to get DH support
well all the "compatible" shaders just crash my game
