No longer able to connect
Hey guys/gals.... I turned my printer on today and I can no longer connect to it via my laptop. It's a vcore 3.1 , raspberry pi, octopus board and ebb tool board. I cannot connect via my phone anymore either which is telling me this is pi issue. I've tried rebooting it several times via turning power off, waiting and turning back on to no avail....the last print I tried to do failed and the computer was downstairs so I hard shut it down. Could I have corrupted the SD card requiring a complete reflaah?

does the hotspot come up?
No
I think you can connect laptop directly to raspi with Ethernet, could try sshing in from there
If that doesn't work, I'd reflash the SD or a new SD and see if the pi comes back up
Thanks
Hope someone can explain this.... I've been logging into this printer via phone and computer using ip address 192.168.0.144 forever....
I decided to take a peek inside my router and see if rat os showed up as a client. It did. However it is now at 192.168.0.145. One digit different. How did this happen and I'm glad I didn't get too crazy reflashing things
Unless you set it in the router there is no guarantee that it will reuse the same IP address when the current DHCP lease expires
yeah, if the router rebooted it might reallocate in a different order
Sometimes it happens to me too
Restart the Router or the pc you want to enter witb
if you want it to always be the same IP, set a static DHCP for it in your router
