Applications muted in CachyOS (KDE x11) can't be unmuted after switching to Bazzite (KDE Wayland)

i'd really rather not have to lose ALL of my settings and configs, so...
My Questions:
is there a way to get the icons/volume slider to show on the task manager in wayland?
failing that, is there a way to reset KDE's cached volume/muted applications?
or worst case scenario, is it possible to switch Bazzite to x11?
CachyOS (KDE x11) to Bazzite (KDE Wayland) and kept my home partition, but now i have a problem where certain applications can't be unmuted because there is no speaker icon nor a volume slider on the applications in "Icons-and-Text Task Manager"i'd really rather not have to lose ALL of my settings and configs, so...
