Adaptive sync / Freesync flickering issues

I just installed Bazzite KDE (Nvidia Open) yesterday and I have pretty bad screen flickering (makes headaches) when I have adaptive sync on. My monitor and GPU are Freesync compatible.
- Leaving adaptive sync on makes the screen flicker very fast.
- Leaving adaptive sync off makes screen tearing.
- Leaving adaptive sync on Automatic still makes the screen flicker very fast.
I looked on other threads and no one seem to have a solution or workaround.
My specs:
Bazzite KDE (Nvidia open)
12700k
4080
Z690
Monitor: ViewSonic VX3218C-2K (32" 1440p, 1ms, 165hz, Freesync Premium)
