How do I get my ROG Ally's gyro sensors to work in my Steam games?

The gyro on my Ally seems to work outside of Steam, like changing my device's orientation in desktop mode. But how do I get it to work on my games in gaming mode. I have Handheld Daemon installed but I don't know how to make gyro work with my games

I've done that. Doesn't work that great the games don't detect it, even though I toggled it on.

By any chance are you trying to do gyro for switch emulation? Then in that case you need to turn of steam input for the game/emulator

When selecting steam controller this setting doesn't matter as it will always default to steam input

Yes yes, for emulating swithc gyro it used to be to set it as dual sense edge and disable steam input, but we still dont know what kinda games op needs the gyro for, so for regular steam games op can use steam controller but then have to configure the game either on theirself or choose a community preset that already made use for gyro controls
