Fatal error occured and installation has been aborted?
Decided to do a fresh install of Bazzite to see if I can fix my crashing issues, but this popped up during the installer process

Bazzite is a custom image built upon Fedora Atomic Desktops that brings the best of Linux gaming to all of your devices.
I tried that and it said "Can't open blockdev"
elaborate
Sorry, I figured out the issue there, but now I am getting this issue

make sure to review the syntax again
i think you added
-
I'm confused, the video says to add that
or maybe it supposed to be
rm -r fedora efi
Nope, have tried that as well, won't work
show error

well its already removed then
I've just tried again, it has not been removed

I've restarted, this is what I have done, I am following the video word for word, changing only to my directory name, this is where it differed
its empty
looks correct
btw are you dualbooting?
No
if you still have issue its probably easier to just nuke the disk then
How do I do that?
you can either do it from cli or boot gparted live
from cli do
wipefs -a /dev/[yourdisk]
e.g, wipefs -a /dev/nvme0n1
make sure to not wipe the wrong diskWhen you say from cli, do you mean in my current Bazzite installation?
from here
Ok I can do that
you cannot do this while booted
Ok done, let's see if that works
That worked, thank you!
Nevermind, it did not
The drive says it is wiped
But

Message has come up again
Even tho the installer says the drive is empty
I give up, I think I'm just going to go back to Win 11, I'll try the LTSC IoT version
ah too bad
sorry it didnt work
It's all good, thanks for all your help, I just don't think I'm Linux savvy enough yet and I'm dying to keep playing the Oblivion remaster while I'm stuck at home with the stupid chickenpox
Did you solve it?
Eh yes and no. Was able to wipe the drive successfully and use it that way, but had to use another installer to overwrite the drive before I could reinstall
And then I found out my PC is the thing causing the crashes 🥲
So did you wipe the whole drive and downloaded bazzite?
I tried everything I still can't get it to work :dispair:

I just did. I usually spend hours trying to find a fix before making one.
