Horrible TPS spikes with Terralith specifically

I'm playing the BTMC4 modpack in singleplayer and I threw in Distant Horizons 2.3.2 thinking nothing of it since I've used it in BTMC2 with no problem and other modpacks but it makes it practically unplayable. All the blocks I break reappear after 5-10 seconds and overall performance is worse than usual. I tried to remove distant horizons and it's back to normal. I put distant horizons back in and replaced Terralith with another world gen mod Big Globe and it's also working perfectly, both on Big Globe and vanilla world but the second I put Terralith back in while Distant Horizons is present it lags like crazy. I don't know what the problem is since I've had Terralith and Distant Horizons in basically every modpack I've ever played and I have 16GB of ram assigned. I'm not sure which discord to go to help for with this hope it's okay here, I'm sorry if not. I attached my log file and I can also include my spark results that show the TPS issues.

Try reducing the DH CPU load preset and waiting a couple minutes

Waited 20 minutes with little to no difference. Frame stutters are maybe calmer but avg fps is still lower than usual and TPS issues still persist. Even putting in a command to change to survival takes over 10 seconds to go through. My cpu usage is between 30% - 60% only

You allocated 16 gb right? How much ram does your PC have?

32gb DDR5 and I have nothing else running with other world gen mods it works with even less ram allocated

what if you turn off distant generation in DH's settings

that did fix the TPS issue but naturally no new terrain gets generated, it also crashes my game or times me out? as if I'm in a server whenever I press it for some reason

I'm getting the same thing with tectonic & WWOO. Huge TPS drops on with just myself on the server. I have it preloaded 500 chunks all directions, and still getting issues. I set the bandwidth to be unlimited and it seemingly reduced the duration of the spikes but it's still bad. have it running on 12GB of my 32GB ddr5.
