Does x11 work with plasma-workspace-x11 on f42?

https://universal-blue.discourse.group/t/bazzite-3-0-no-etc-default-desktop-wayland-to-enable-x11/1413/2 I’m seeking clarification on whether adding back the X 11 package with RPM-OStree, e.g. rpm-ostree install plasma-workspace-x11 should be enabling the ability to log into a graphical session with X11 or whether other things are broken such that this package no longer works. The reason I ask is when I try to install the package and login to an X 11 graphical session. I’m immediately dumped back to the login window and the only way I can get a graphical session going as to select Wayland again. This is on Fedora 42 with a Nvidia desktop open image and a standard desktop PC. My end goal is to see if I can use the proprietary nvidia driver with all the other bazzite trapping that I enjoy. Feel free to get technical, I have some experience with docker and layering concepts, etc.

One package has to be layered with this command in a host terminal: rpm-ostree install plasma-workspace-x11 Reboot after it finishes layering and X11 should be a cho...

No support will be provided for X11 under any circumstance If you do attempt to reinstall it yourself, do not open any help threads while using it. We will lock and close them
