i think it's because ghost is one of the earliest costumes so most of the cntw players will want to have it
while in global it differs. as far as i see tonk is somewhat on the upperhand because of the emote and the wand
yes its one of the biggest reasons. Many players in twcn vote for an outfit not because its the best option, many of them vote for the one they dont have
my fav in that list is macusa but i already have it so my vote go for ghost.
Besides, it’s the only outfit that we can wear as actual ghost
in taiwan hpma fb group the comments also say they want ghost too, i dont even see they mention any other outfit

I can see Ghost being a strong candidate in global servers too because:
1.) It was beloved for its concept of being a ghost, which really resonated with players.
2.) It was featured in the first voting wheel event, so it already built a solid fanbase and players are already informed what it is. Meanwhile, global players aren’t informed about some outfits such as Tonks, unless you dug through old TW/CN content or saw players from those servers campaigning for them.
like my vietnamese hpma fb group tonks is winning but the international hpma fb group ghost is winning
so yeah its harder to predict for global
Same goes to other outfits from 1st voting wheel event tbh. But Ghost’s fanbase is already strong
I love Ghost but I feel like I wouldn't wear it as much as Tonks year round and I like the wand better. I would be happy if either won

Yup. It was the second or 3rd wheel for global I think. Back when they did 2 wheels at the same time, then people complained that there were too many wheels and not enough ways to get clockturn keys

I can see people with male MCs wanting the Durmstrang outfit though. I don't think there are enough of them to make a big difference in the voting , but it's a good outfit for males (and not the same suit jacket they always get)

Is it that hard to just not say unkind things to your duo partners/other duelists? I mean, I understand worrying about people making false accusations, but I have a hard time feeling for people who are needlessly mean. This game is supposed to be a fun escape, the world is a crappy enough place right now. Personally, when players say unkind things to me, it sends me into panic attacks that make me not want to play. I actually don't play at certain times to avoid being matched with certain users. I know I'm not the only one who feels this way. :birbcry: I'm not saying I don't get frustrated too, but I never yell at my partner. We all make mistakes sometimes, or get bad matchups. It happens. If I could, I would just choose not to be partnered with abusive players. =/
Maybe just team up with a duo at this rate if people are afraid of the new feature

There's a lot of rage with duelling. Happens more than one would think. Just block & report and move on.
I do block and report them, but I can still be paired with them, and getting paired with them later sends me into panic attacks. x.x And news for them, when I'm anxious I can't think straight and I make mistakes, so it's not like the abuse is helpful 🥲

I know, I try not to let it get to me 🥲 The panic is a reflex response, unfortunately. But I've made MA every season except for the very first one, so I try to tell myself I can't be that bad at it :pidgejoy:

Yeah, hopefully they have a way to bar people from reporting someone just because they lost the match.
If the sanction depends on other players without support verification, there will be people who will use it to their advantage to sanction people they don't like, that happened in other games where they added a system like this and in the end they had to remove it

I have noticed the world chat people love calling out players while bullying and harassing them at the same time. There’s a block button it’s not there just to be pretty. Use it and move on! It does! You’ll find this a lot where injustice isn’t punished though. People try to take that upon themselves. It ends up getting really nasty and in the end you don’t know who’s right or who’s wrong anymore. It’s lack of proper moderation.
But it makes me feel reluctant to post there. It’s either that or brain rot.
You know, just in case I phrase something funny and someone takes offence. 🫠
There have been a lot of "watch out for this player" posts in the message boards lately. Hopefully this will work as a better avenue.
And you can’t correct quickly enough because there’s a slowdown timer on posting.
Yes exactly my point. My issue is when something happens between two people and one of them decides to make it public to destroy the other person. At some point it’s hard to tell if some stuff is simply made up to make the other person look bad or if it’s actually true…. If support would actually do their job we wouldn’t have this problem at all though.
I really hope so. They’ve been trying to expose a scammer who’s stole quite a lot from multiple people (not to mention bullying), but they’re getting their posts taken down instead of the person being punished, sadly.
