Question about CPU usage

Hi, I'm not having any issues in particular. I'm interested in using DH on a server with an already generated LOD file available. When running the mod, my GPU usage is basically nonexistent but my CPU does have to work pretty hard. Is this happening because my CPU is trying to override the file by re-generating all the chunks? If so, is there a way to avoid this? The map is basically 100% static so there's no need for chunks to be updated. If the chunks re-generating isn't what's happening, is all the usage just the baseline minimum to load in the LOD chunks?

heya, minecraft servers are entirely CPU based, cuz there's technically nothing for the GPU to render. so yes, it's perfectly normal for your GPU usage to be nonexistent. no, you can't make your GPU do work since it's not really "rendering" anything. all the server has to do is process stuff and send it to clients. then the clients use GPU and render the information sent from the server to display the final product. though, i'm not sure abt the second part of your question, where you put already existing LOD files. hopefully someone else can help you with that

Could it be generating chunks outside of the static map?
