Best Black T-shirt - Doesn’t fade quickly
I’m trying to find a good plain black tee that doesn’t fade after a few washes. I don’t mind spending a little more if it doesn’t fade quickly. (Like under $150) I really like the fit of True Classic tees, but they fade so quickly after like 3 or 4 washes.
I’m hoping to find a good quality tee that’s similar in fit to True Classic. I know it’s a tall ask, but I’m trying my luck here.

how are you washing your clothes? can’t say i’ve had this problem
Yup...wash in cold water, and hang dry. I do this with black tees from Uniqlo ($25) and they hold up fine.
My washer has a cold wash setting that I use and low temperature air dry setting on my dryer.

do u have pics of what ur talking about? all dyed clothes are going to fade a bit over time.
Maybe your detergent is too harsh, or you're using too much of it.

It’s probably the detergent, but not the amount because my washer is supposed to take what it needs from the detergent box underneath.
Yeah i fear that looks like a normal black tee.
Id try changing up the detergent before anything else.
