And yes Secure boot was disabled!!
Your dual boot is incomplete/broken and you are booting to an emergency shell. Did you follow one of our guides for dual booting?
Also you can leave secure boot enabled, there's no need to disable it whatsoever
Well, im unable to flash the split partition i made due to the inability to boot off of my Micro SD card, So im trying some wacky means to clone the partition onto that partition
We only support installing to an internal drive and installing from a USB drive
Please switch to that, I will lock and close this thread if you continue with the sd card
Curious question, is there anyway to just select a partition, without an extra drive?
You will need an external drive or USB stick. A second internal drive should work too (if completely wiped), but with a ROG Ally X that isn't an option
You will need to buy a USB-C stick preferably.
