J. Press and Beams did a collab earlier this year - are the 2P slacks a cop?
the fabric is throwing me off though - it's 70% poly/30% wool - no clue on the weight of the fabric , i'm assuming due to the release it's meant for spring/summer - not sure

Depends. Some do, some dont. It has positive qualities, it has negatives
If you don't want it then maybe look at pants that dont have plastics but have a similar cut?
2 pleat pants aren't crazy rare or anything
you can definitely find double pleats in tropical wool and other lightweight fabrics on ebay
idk what makes these different than the regular beams 2pleats
they look less cropped i guess
