Bug: Not whole photo visible in Web view
Attached photo. In a thumbnail you can see the face is fully visible, the photo ends as hairline starts.
When the photo is expanded to full view, even just the top eye is cut off, probably hidden behind the top gray navigation banner.
I made extra sure neither the photo nor browser are zoomed in.
Sorry for using photo I have to censor, but most of my photos are in other aspect ratio and there I dont have this problem.

Successfully submitted, a tag has been added to inform contributors. :white_check_mark:Can you show some more info like which camera this was taken with for instance
(and what version of immich 😛 )
1.132.1, was taken with Samsung Note 9

When I rightclick on the image and click "open image in new tab" the whole photo shows. Its clearly about the top banner being overlaid over the photo, instead of rendered underneath
This is reinforced by testing to resize my browser window.
When its narrow, the sides are the limiting factor, and whole photo is visible. As I increase the width, the photo is getting bigger, and doesnt stop until it reaches the top of the browser canvas, instead of being limited by top row with control elements
Here are two picures, the only difference was stretching the window width. The top part of picture dissapears behind the black(ish) bar

I dont think it has anything to do with source of the image, its just the webUI
trying some things here, are you absolutely sure you're not accidentaly zoomed in at all? Mouse wheel will zoom too
yes. mousewheeled out, also made sure that browser zoom is to 100% and not zoomed in/out
Ah, I tried in private tab and no issue there, localized the problem to addon "Dark Reader", which, in its attempt to darken the page, darkens the top bar, which is normally transparent
sorry about that
No worries, good thing you found it! 🙂
