Getting past the "Error checking storage configuration" error when ...
I have seen a number of users getting the "Error checking storage configuration" error when they are trying to install Bazzite for the first time, especially when they try and dual-boot with Windows. In this video, I'll show you how to reproduce the issue and after that we'll look at setting up Bazzite with custom partitioning, so both Windows a...

This is what I've identified so far. If the first 2TB of the drive is occupied, you cannot make a new EFI partition using manual partitioning. If you try you'll get the error "Unable to allocate request partition scheme" that you are seeing above So these are your options: 1) You could try and make 300-600 MB at the beginning of the partition somehow by moving the Windows partition around (which is a bit dangerous since you moving every single file on the drive) 2) Install Bazzite on a separate drive (which can be an external SSD drive). Weirdly, you can copy over the partitions over once it's installed and it will probably boot as this is a weird anaconda issue

Dual-boot still works. Windows on disk 1, Bazzite on disk 2. If it's an external SSD drive (I use enclosures for all my testing) you can boot it in pretty much any computer which is great for testing. If you happy with it you can just pull it out of the enclosure and throwit into whatever machine you want to use for an internal disk

its not sd card install support. I tried it installing on an SSD and got the error above. on sd card it works fine.
