active apps aren't showing up in the bar anymore

it's just empty, what did i do?

is that gnome? gnome doesn't show apps on that bar unless you mean the system tray if so, that's a gnome extension

it was there when i initially installed bazzite, but there it's not

i don't know how to explain it better, but at the upper right next to the sound/power internet icons and there was a quick menu to the left

Extensions are managed with the Extension Manager

enable whichever you want. AppIndicator is the system tray icons
