Headset mic not working on Asus laptop

Hello! I have an Asus ROG G533QR laptop and I've recently switched to Bazzite. And my headset mic is not able to be picked up. Instead, the laptop's internal mic is picked up even if the headset is plugged in or not.
I've found this wiki page for the G533QS model which is close enough. And on it it says something about rear speakers not working. I'd like to try those changes out to see if they do anything.

I know Bazzite is based on Fedora but I'd like to try this tutorial from the arch wiki as this is the closest thing I've got.
Can anyone provide help on how to best apply those changes? Thank you!
