7735HS Absurd Power Draw In Bazzite

I have a 2023 Asus A16 with the following specs. Cpu: 7735hs Gpu: 7700s Ram: 32gb Bazzite installation: bazzite-ally I believe my CPU is using too much power. The 7700s will be at sitting at a cool 60-70 degrees when in game mode. But the 7735hs will be using around 120watts and peaking at 95 degrees in most demanding games even when barely at 50% utilization. Is there a way to limit the power usage on bazzite? Something like simple decky tdp but not capped at 40w? This behavior seems to be related to Game Mode. When playing a game in the desktop, the temps seems to be fairly around the same as windows. I guess what I would like to find out is if its gamemode causing a crazy power draw or if it is reporting my temps and power usage wrong.

Windows vs bazzite temps both capped at 60 fps, same settings. Both difficulty 8, and after 30-45 mins of playing in Hell Divers 2. Any information or advice is appreciated.

in desktop mode, it always sets itself to balance i can switch it to performance in the asus rog app but it will go back to balance after a few seconds

i cant use performance. It sets itself back to balanced but it maintains the high power usage and high temps would installing asusctl and supergfxctl do anything?

still running hot, and i dont know if its reporting wrong. I noticed it is now having the high temperatures in desktop mode too. I can audibly hear the fans going louder when running bazzite. I can straight up limit power usage in windows so it doesnt do this. But I also dont wanna use windows lmao

In windows using g-helper in bazzite, i cant control the power usage at all so it cranks up the cpu and lets it use 120w even though on the amd website, the 7735hs should max out at 54w

On the asus website for this laptop, it says the 7700s can go to 120 but not the cpu

use the command sensors yes very likely it shows the CPU as the GPU and the GPU as the CPU weird, there is only one amdgpu not 2 there should be two

1 hour of gameplay after applying PTM7950 on the cpu and gpu die. Removed the Arctic MX-6 thermal paste.
