check if you don't have that embeddium/sodium extras mod or smth that adds a vertical and horizontal render distance scale slider in video settings, if you do, turn the vertical slider back to 100%

i put it to the lowest option i could and it worked, thanks
doesn't need to be the lowest one, last time i checked putting it back to just 100% makes it render normally
100% is a sphere, so it matches DH
Lower then that will work but you will lose fps and not gain anything else
I don't think
Sodium Extra adds anything like that
I haven't even seen it in Embeddium, though I play 1.20.1 so I don't have the latest version
Only mod I know adds such settings is Better FPS - Redner Distanceyeah im not sure which mod adds it
The correct config for BetterFPS - RD is even in the faq iirc
But if Embeddium adds this too the raw needs an update
i think there's embeddium extras AND embeddium++, so it might be one of those two, or that better fps one, later i can go check that
