Trying for days to get FAB objects to show up.

I went through the FAQs, made sure the FAB and Dash paths matched, and even updated the python scripts from the news but no go. If I add something from FAB, it shows up in the content folders just fine, and can manually drag them into the scene, but nothing ever shows up in the DASH content browser. Any help would be appreciated

Hey @Grendel šŸ™‚ That's very strange, could you tell me two things 1. What FAB assets did you try? (If you haven't tried some basic Megascans/Quixel assets, please do) 2. When you download something from the FAB plugin, is there any messages/errors in the UE output log? And also, could you send me a picture of your path settings in the Dash preferences?

i have similar issue. no fab. even today tried add, and recan dir. initially it scans and stops. but the 2nd time it just scans forever until u shutdown editor. not sure if related but ive checked the found assets in Megascans in the project /Game/Megascans/3D_Assets/, but when i add them to project with dash. the material is a duplicated Material Instance. but the name has _PF after it. example attached (i have to load every static mesh and change the material back to non _PF

Hey @crackshot šŸ™‚ You mean when you add new FAB assets to your project from the FAB plugin, they don't show up in the Dash Content Browser? Did you replace these files already? If not please do, it is needed due to a change from Epic/FAB. https://discord.com/channels/826908885024636989/826910278561169418/1364980800449286284 And regarding the _PF, in order for us to have our Material Edit and Blend Material working for Megascans, we create our own MasterMaterial and that is the material you see with _PF so that is as it is suppose to be šŸ™‚ (In the UE content browser we have our own folders for the megascans assets you have placed)

ok. so just replace them šŸ™‚ nah but the ones i download from quixel bridge show up in old browser filter. hence the material change.

ah yee we still have the Quixel tab for the Bridge plugin assets and these have their own polygonflow Dash material as well, compared to if you would get them from FAB and use them through Dash šŸ™‚
