upload error using web app.
Hi Guys, I have succesfully uploaded all my photo's from 2018-2025.
Now with a batch for 2017 it won't upload half of the pics. All pictures are OG exports from Apple Photos. Note that I am for from an experienced user in this respect. I'm glad I got my server up and running etc.
Here's a part of the log. Can you tell me what's wrong and what I need to do to fix it?
Cheers Mike

Can you upload the entire log? The server isn't able to find thumbnails where it expects them to be. Have you changed anything with your isntance? Upgrade docker? Updates?
Here you go. I was uploading the photos back to back this afternoon. Everything went well unitll I reached the 2017 folder. Haven't doen anything to docker/immich in the meanwhile.
I encountered the same thing last week. I thought I might had been too fast in uploading new batches and that I somehow stressed it out. So last week I deleted all pics, emptied the trash en started over today. All seemed unitl this.
How many assets are you trying to upload? And you just dropping on the web page?
Also if you take one of the error log file paths, do you see the thumbnail on your file syste?
I do batches around 400-600 files, mostly iphone pics. This on one specifically was 581. But Since my last comment I have succesfully uploaded the whole batch. with ~300 duplicates of course. But the rest came through nice and well. Did another batch just now, also fine. So it seems like it doesn't want me to upload too many batches on after the other? Because if wait long enough it'll just act like nothings wrong... Or so it seems
I didnt see the thubnails no. Nothing
I wouldn't be using the website for those large batches. It will be hit or miss for sure. You should use the cli for anything like that. You will get much better results
OK thanks
