What's your hair type? Generally, you need to blow dry it, preferably w/ a guard that blows in a straight direction, with a comb holding the hair in place. Any product for texture or volume. I'd rec. mousse and texture powder.

return to said barber and have a discussion with them about it as well

He probably put product in your wet hair before blowing it in a certain direction.

Hot comb it ultimately is a conversation for you to have with your barber to get the best idea

Best to talk to your barber tbh since they're more familiar with your hair than the Discord users.

they’ll be able to show you how to do again

Ask about tools, techniques and hair products.

Brother it is your barber Heat has been used for centuries to style hair, and like 20 years ago it was super trendy to light a comb on fire to do this, but you can likely get the same results from other heat treatments

it’s easier to access this channel and ask for help but your barber will be the best help

Hot comb
A hot comb (also known as a straightening comb or pressing comb) is a metal comb that is used to straighten moderate or coarse hair and create a smoother hair texture. A hot comb is heated and used to straighten the hair from the roots. It can be placed directly on the source of heat or it may be electrically heated.

ok i will talk to the barber, but thats not it. it was a normal comb that i put on fire, it was actual flames from it, it was burning he lighted it with a heat gun or what they are called

It's more to do with technique than style or this look. Showing pics to stylists or barbers will be best for them. I'd recommend looking up different tecnhiques on YouTube and determine what is the most viable for you: cost, hair type, physical ability.

Did your barber film this and put it on ig Heat treatments can be damaging to hair if done incorrectly or too frequently, and using direct flames is just asking for damage and risking injury. Like Levi said, you could do the exact same style with some cream and a hairdryer.

no, no filming. and to be clear, the comb was not burning when he started comb

Ok, so effectively it's exactly the same as the hot comb that suecifer posted. Its just using heat to straighten/add texture to hair.
