Rendering entities that load chunks
Using witchcraft (kiltmc) i managed to get cracker's wither storm mod working on fabric. However, when using distant horizons, the wither storm fades away into the fog, and doesnt render it even though it loads chunks. Is there any way to fix this?

it looks like without dh the wither storm defaults to a position high above the terrain when far away from it, instead of where it is in the screenshot
dh doesn't render entities
i dont need it to, the wither storm usually renders itself, even when out of render distance. dh just makes it stop rendering for some reason
idk if theres a setting i should change or another mod i should download to fix it
well it is not a block is it
maybe a tile entity at most, which dh also doesn't render
i dont need dh to render it, i just need it to stop unrendering it
the wither storm mod works by loading chunks that its in to be able to display it from out of your usual render distance

pretty sure there's no mod or setting that fixes that, but it sounds plausible that dh could add compatibility for it
You can disable fading between vanilla and DH in settings
That will disable the smooth vanilla - DH transition
But should also allow Wither storm to render
Though it will always render on top of LOD
There is also a DH addon that renders entities
