Unable to launch trackmania (hangs on wine popup)

I am on arch/wayland(hyprland) trying to launch trackmania. it just makes this popup about the wine config and then hangs any help is appreciated, thanks!

Forcing a reboot to kill all the procs since it was just hanging and i couldn't get rid of it, Now when i hit launch, nothing pops up anymore and the button turns back from "Playing" to "Launch" about a second after attemptimg to launch

this is wine-ge and it will be deprecated in wine manager in proton-ge tab you can download the latest version then select it in game settings
