Hey folks - I am having some trouble

Hey folks - I am having some trouble with the asset browser. I am unable to select more than one Material at a time - which is making it impossible to create compound materials. When I select meshes it's fine, but materials... no matter what I do, when attempting to select more than one material, it always deselects the selected material and selects the next material. First I select one material, and then when I hold down control, all of the other materials become grayed out, so I cannot select multiple materials. Any thoughts?

Or does compound materials only work with some materials, like the ones from Polyhaven?

Hello, the blend materials are only supported on the third party libraries, like polyhaven or quixel. When you have your own shaders, they can be made in any way unreal allows you to, with potentially very complex networks and connections. For this reason, we are not able to blend everything, but only material that we create from simple textures with predictable naming conventions, like the ones in those libraries. We would like to provide a custom workflow for your shaders, where if you follow some rules, we can allow you to take advantage of our shaders with any material you have, but it's not a simple project to deliver with the expected results, so as for now, you can only generate those shaders with the third party libraries.

Thanks - I have actually built some pretty complex blend materials myself, and have my own shader system, but it would be cool to be able to use your system for sure. What if you provided a master material that any instance would work as a part of a blend material?
