for this question i added all the atomic no of the elements and then if it is -ve i added the charge , but the solution used EAN why?

Cu would be +2 for example, but yo uare only adding 29, which would be incorrect.

EAN is the total number of electrons on cma
ig ur not including the electrons coordinated by ligands
(cma is central metal atom)
