looking for opinions on these boat shoes
what I'm looking for: boat shoes, brown, I generally don't like suede but I guess it's okay for something I plan to just wear in the summer
I'm aiming for a color that will be as versatile as possible, something I'll be able to pair with both summery off-white or beige pants and darker chinos (think navy, tan brown, khaki) - if that's even possible; brighter, more orange tans seem to be a hard no
budget: 700 pln is about the maximum

I'm personally leaning to the Pier Ones even though that's Zalando's default made in China brand, simply because they have no visible logos and a minimal design that still has the rawhide laces, though I don't like the lack of contrast stitching on the toe; the batas would be great if not for the contrasting white sole

You may try to search for Sebago or Sperry, they should be both within the budget (Sebago at the limit if full price). Both well made, I found they fit a bit different but that will depend on foot shape.
