Image freezing
So I’ll just be using my computer like normal, and randomly one of my monitors will freeze. I have a 3-monitor setup with an RTX 4090, and it doesn’t matter which monitor—it happens to any of them. The weird thing is, the other monitors keep working fine. And even the frozen one is still responsive. Like, if I’m watching a YouTube video on it, I can still pause it or interact with it—it just doesn’t update visually on the screen.

Doing ctl + alt + f3 than switch it back, seems to resume it like normal
It's an issue with nvidia crashing, there are a few threads on it here I found but switching tty like you mentioned is the only workaround anyone's found so far.
Dam okay
i'm having the same issue, for me just turning the nonresponsive screen off and on again also seems to work
Couple of other links I found in this discord based on my search of "Failed to process received event 0x1003"

There's a few nvidia forum posts that go back to last year with it as well scattered about.
