B550 Chipset USB-Ports unusable for Capture Cards?

So since im having some problems with my internal avermedia live gamer hd2 i wanted to switch to an usb based capture card. first i tried some cheap 20 bucks solution but it made obs crash and my usb ports freeze. now i tried the elgato 4k x and had also problems running this on 4k. (audio issues, obs freezes) i realized that i had no problems as soon as i switched to an usb port directly connected to the cpu and NOT the chipset. elgato works without any problems now. (unfortunately i cannot test the cheap offbrand card anymore since i refund it, but it probably would have worked also on the cpu usb port since 2 friends of mine have the same offbrand card and it works for them) i have a gigabyte b550 aorus pro v1 motherboard and i wanted to use the usb-c port. now i need to stick to the cpu usb-a port. now my question, would there be any workaround to make the elgato work on the usb c port? im on the latest bios and basically tried all bios settings you get recommended when you google for B550 USB-related problems. im fine with my setup now since i have an adapter for usb A-C but i just want to know if its maybe an incompatibility that can be solved through settings or if the mainboard is just ass.

Do you have anything else running through chipset lanes/ports?

over usb there is mouse, keyboard, mic, webcam, 4hdds (2 of them use the other cpu usb ports), gamecontroller. both nvme slots are occupied (one of them is connected to the chipset) as well as 4/6 sata ports. when i had the cheap cap card, i tried running it with only minimum devices connected (kb and mouse) and it was the same i didnt try running the elgato with everything disconnected but i assume it wouldnt really matter since there was no difference for the cheap one

then no, there's probably not much you can do there

well then im glad it works at least with the cpu usb port. i wont buy cpu+mb on release again since that was not the only problem i had with this motherboard. but thanks anyways
