Nine Witches: Family Disruption (GOG) – crashes when playing the developer logo

I wanted to make this game work on my Steam Deck (1st gen 512GB LCD now with upgraded 2TB storage). I have reinstalled it several times, tried different configuration, currently I'm trying with GE-Proton9-13 (but tried 8-32 and latest too, all from Heroic) with the following Winetricks components installed: 7zip, cinepak, dirac, dotnetcoredesktop3, ffdshow, l3codecx, vcrun2008, vcrun2022, vcrun6, xvid (icodecs doesn't install) The crash happens with an unhandled InvalidOperationException .NET exception, with the description "cannot start video." Due to the fact, that the publisher logo plays, but not the developer's logo, I've assumed an unsupported video format, but checking the .mp4 files found under Contents/Videos, both video seem to use the exact same encoding parameters (checking it with VLC), that was the reason I've installed the codecs. I saw issues reported on Steam Community forums, and some reported the need to install .NET Core 3.1 (listed in Winetricks components) and not working after installing .NET 5 (tried to install it, but did nothing resolving the issue). Most post, to my understanding, is something the developer supposedly fixed in the project, and should not occur. I tried ChatGPT, but it's suggestions are hit or miss. Can anyone help me on this?
