ERROR [Api:StorageService] Failed to read upload/encoded-video/.immich: Error: EISDIR: illegal operation on a directory, readHave you messed with the .immich files?
fom v1.25.3 to v.132.3are you sure you don't mean v1.125.3?
I have not messed with .immich files . Not sure what those are.
Yea...typo..i meant v1.125.3. that particular folder was empty
Yea...typo..i meant v1.125.3. that particular folder was empty
Looking at the logs, the error started as
ERROR [Api:StorageService] Failed to read upload/encoded-video/.immich: Error: ENOENT: no such file or directory, open 'upload/encoded-video/.immich'And then later changed to
ERROR [Api:StorageService] Failed to read upload/encoded-video/.immich: Error: EISDIR: illegal operation on a directory, readDid you really not do anything there?
sorry..yea. I did create a folder called .immich to see if that would fix it (after the original error) but that didn't. I have since removed it. Thanks for looking.
You would need to create a file not a folder. BUT! you should only do that if you're sure about why the problem is happening and that bypassing it like this won't mean you lose data or such
It usually implies your UPLOAD_LOCATION is not mounted correctly
See https://immich.app/docs/administration/system-integrity
Thanks. That helped. Sorry, it's been a while since I updated it and I didn't check the docker_compose file for differences. It was missing some mounts. I copied over my original docker compose file with the github version and didn't keep my initial changes on volumes. All fixed.
