Electrostatics Basics
Let's say we took a neutral body which has special charge arrangement such that all the negative charge is on one side, now the positive side of the body is connected it to Earth, so Earth gives electrons to neutralize the body.
My question is, how did electrons move without any Potential Difference?
haven't studied 2nd chapter yet

corrected it!
who said there isnt potenital differnce
net charge on body as well as Earth is zero
so
how can any Potential Difference occur?
i understand there is this
but the part tht u have connected to earth tht is positively charged
so earth wnts to stay at zero potential
and it will give off electron to tht
think of potential differnce as a force
this will be much clear then
net potential to pehle bhi zero tha
its just a force or better term would be tendency
net is the key word

wdym gives electron to neutralize body
it may take elctron as well
charge does not have to become neutral
potential must be neutral
by neutral i mean 0
yh yh i understood this
we basically say na earth gave electrons to neutralise
it doesnt but we say to explain the phenomenon
thts waht he means there
oh my god
sorry bhai
aap dono ko pareshan karne ke liye
thoda thoda samaj mein aaya
agle chapter mein padhunga
sorry
