to close the thread when your doubt is solved. Mention the users who helped you solve the doubt. This will be added to their stats.It's a quadratic in sin(theta2) so minimise that first, and see if it happens for a value of sin(theta2) between -1 and 1. If it doesn't, check the range of the quadratic in -1,1 and choose the lowest bound.
Then, you get an expression in cos(theta1) which you can minimise.
Because the trig functions are of independent variables, you can deal with them separately
(The first expression is -b/2a at which the minimum value of the function occurs.)

@Abhi Is the answer $\frac{3(1+8cos^{2}(\theta{1}))}{1+2cos^{2}(\theta{1})}$?

Umm no it asked the minimum value which is 3
Ah I see, the minimum value as theta_1 and theta_2 both are varied.
Write this as 3(4-3/(1+2cos^2(theta_1))) this acquires a minimum value of 3 when cos(theta_1)=0.
Cos^2(theta_1) or cos(theta_1) ?
When Cos²(theta)=cos(theta)=0.
Got it
Don't know how I will do long ass ques in jee
