Any stuff that can expose my local server to the internet?
I saw ngrok but it needs payment registered and I don't have a credit card, theres playit.gg but I've heard bad reviews.
I just want to expose my server so I can temporarily test my minecraft map with some of my friends since its a multiplayer map so I don't really need permanent addresses or any kind of that stuff. I just want to run the server in my machine, have something expose that to the internet :)

Port forwarding is not an option for me.
Honestly just use play it
It works fine for most people most of the time
I've got a friend who used play it and it worked fine for him
i see
ill try it when i get on
Options:
1. Playit.gg
2. Buy a $1/month VPS and set up a tailnet between that server and your minecraft server like this post https://discord.com/channels/348681414260293634/1368564726304608328
3. Port forward 25565 on your local router
4. Have everyone download tailscale and join the same tailnet. They will be able to join your server as if you were all on the same LAN -- (this is free and pretty easy to set up)
Meanwhile op: βport forwarding is not an option for meβ
Iβll probably consider frp if playit doesnβt work
E4mc?
If you just want to play on a world together it's a good option that lets you play together
oh e4mc does sound nice
E4mc is a bit goofy cause of the ever changing server ip
nginx stream port on a cheap vps
why port forward
and why have people download tailscale
Maybe they dont want to or cant open a port on their router
thats the point of tailscale
not opening a port
exactyl
what are you trying to do?
im confused
I was just helping OP
if you use nginx to stream a port to a tailscale ip you dont need to port forward
i never said you did
those are 4 options not sequential steps
mentioning a vps thats exactly what you mean
i think you are confused

There's a way to make not everyone have to download tailscale btw. I don't have it on hand right now, but I used it to be able to make my plex server accessible from everywhere when I was behind CGNAT.
Yeah of course, its just one option of many
