Can’t set resolution to 4k60? NOT 4k120
Hey all, I’m running Bazzite deck on a pc with a 9600x and an RX 9070. My TV is a Samsung s90c OLED. I’m aware of the limitations of the HDMI spec and am trying to figure out if I can just limit the output from Bazzite to 4k@60hz without VRR to get 4:4:4 chroma and avoid the awful color banding in skies and such in games.
Currently whenever I set the resolution in Gamescope to 4k 60hz, my tv still sees the output as 120hz and the QAM still shows the 120hz option in the fps limiter. There seems to be no way to limit the output to only 60hz. I’m not sure if this would even help the issue but any insight would be really appreciated. Thanks!
