ebin resurrected shaders end issue
hello irecently i looking for a new shaders, so i found ebin, i install it, but when i go to the end dimension, the shader doesn't load, and on the chat i recive this message "Shader compilation failed for shadowcomp compute shadowcomp!"

if I remember correctly this error message means the shader is trying to use features from an OpenGL version higher than your graphics drivers support. Try checking for driver updates. If they are already on the latest version then your graphics card might be too old to support the required OpenGL version
it means shadowcomp failed to load
which means literally anything
we need the latest.log
How to find crash reports and logs
If your issue involves a game crash, please locate the crash-reports folder in your .minecraft directory and drag the relevant crash report into Discord.
If your issue does NOT involve a crash, or there is otherwise no available crash report, please locate the logs folder in your .minecraft directory and drag the file named latest.log into Discord.

Let me test the shader pack real quick, see what's in it that might cause issues.
Bad news, it works on my system.

Only thing I can think of is Nvidia being Nvidia with their whole driver fiasco as of late.
delete the file, delete the issue :trolley:
yes it also works for me in the owerworld, but if I enter in the end the shaders deactivates giving the error, and reactivates once I leave the end

OpenGL 3.2 is what Minecraft runs on. The GPU can support much higher OpenGL version.
so i can download opengl 4.2? whitout problems on my gpu?
You say it only have issues when you enter the end dimension, correct? Let me test that one.

Oop, the shader pack failed to load.
This is likely a bug with the shader pack itself, not Iris. Let me forward this to the pack author.

i checked the nether and there is the same error, in the chat it says that iris had an error and says to contact the irir developers

but how can I modify the file?
Unzip the shader pack, go to the following folder:
shaders/world1
for the End dimension, and shaders/world-1
for the Nether. We'll be solving both issues in one go.
Then, open the file shadowcomp.csh
with the text editor of your choice, do the following edit:
Replace the text in red with the text in green, if you can see the coloring.
Be sure that once you unzipped it, the folder structure looks like this:

Pretty sure you need to unpack the file before doing the edit.

Unless you mean repack the file, which you don't need to. Iris also support running shader packs unpacked.
