Can I wear this very large shirt as an overshirts?

Not exactly sure where shirt ends and overshirts begins. This is technically a "work shirt" that's 2 sizes too large for me. Can I just stick it over one or two other layers and use it as an overshirts? Or is there something technically different about a work shirt/over shirt that makes it look stupid? How does it look?
