can the metals be also different here? or only the energy of light (frequency) is different but the metal is same?

different Vs is needed bcuz their Kinetic energy max are different, which is hv-Φ, so different metals have different Φ which means their KEmax can be different even with the light's v being different or same, hence different metals can have different Vs if the metals are same, then KEmax are different only bcuz of the light v are different, so they can also have different Vs so that means both are valid?

so if frequency of incident radiation is the same, then different metals depends on what is constant and what changes :)

you have written that the frequencies are different so it must be the same metal

so if Vs is different, then freq dif - metal same freq same - metal dif yeah it's clear now
