600 chunks on max but i cant seem to see any cities (i read faq and im not sure if i missed somethin

Sometimes some structures have problem generating with distant generation set to features
/generators
- FEATURES: Complete generation of all LODs with mostly correct structures and trees. Does not save vanilla chunks, and is much faster than INTERNAL_SERVER unless C2ME is installed.
- INTERNAL_SERVER: Generates and saves both DH LODs and vanilla chunks, has 100% correct LODs, because it also saves vanilla chunks it takes the most amount of drive space. Generation speed will suck unless C2ME is installed.
- PRE-EXISTING: generates LODs for all existing vanilla chunks.
You might need to swicth to Internal_server in this case

In the DH config, go to advanced settings and then generation or whatever it was called
So having c2me is good right
Change generation mode to internal server
C2ME is fine

Only new LODs will be 100% correct
No way so all the chunks I just loaded won’t have end cities shown?
If you load the end cities into your vanilla RD they should show up in LODs
But the generation mode only changes how LODs generate
It does not affect the already generated LODs
FEATURES mode is not perfect, but it way faster and usually good enough, thus why it's the default

End Cities not generating in features mode seem like a bug.
They do generate, just not 100% of the time. Just like with stuff like chunkbase, it's not fully accurate
With that said, I wonder if having per-dimension generator mode would be beneficial? The End dimension have a lot of voids where setting the generator for that dimension to Internal Server can have a sizeable speed while maintaining LOD accuracy.
all dimensions have this issue. same reason why trees dont generate the same in LODs as normal chunks

Features does not save vanilla chunks, so if you are asking if you have to delete the vanilla chunks, there is nothing to delete
If you want t o regenerate all your LODs you can delete them

NOTE:
Sometimes there might be 2 additional files next to the main one with extensions .sqlite-wal
and .sqlite-shm

the cities are becoming visble slowy idk why
but its all the edge of my chunks after i increased the chunks from 600 to 1000 so maybe its what you said that old chunks wont changr
even after deleting the stuff in the files?
when im in game i notice .sqlite-wal and .sqlite-shm in the file
but when i leave they both disappear on their own
They should dissapear, they not always do
If they are present act as the 3 files are only 1

After deleting the correct LOD DBs no LODs should be left, all should start generation again
Maybe you deleted the LODs from some other dimension?
it dint start generating it was loaded pretty quick
