Manually checking for updates in Gaming Mode (bazzite-deck-gnome) reports no updates all the time
Until recent times, I'd regularly get update notifications from Gaming Mode and update process from said mode would work correctly/as expected.
Recently, I've almost completely (the exception being when Valve pushes new stable version of Steam client) stopped getting update notification in Gaming Mode. Also, when triggering update check manually, I'd also get no indication that there is any pending update waiting - while switching to Desktop Mode and launching
What steps can I take to investigate whether update (check) mechanism in Gaming Mode works correctly on my Steam Deck OLED?
