New PC install Issue - corrupt preferences file
Very strange. I've install py last version, then set resolution of monitor to 125% instead of 150%. Then change UI Scale to 0.9 instead of 0.68 then again pushed the dash icon and it starts

When you got this error that mentions "corrupt preferences file", you mean in the output log right? It was not a crash log message?

I have seen that twice before, one time it was due to a clash of plugins, so disabling other python plugins helped. (i.e. deleting intermediate folder)
The other time, we haven't found the reason yet, but then the user figured out that it helped just to open Dash preferences and save it once. And I guess you meant you change the scale in Dash preferences right?

No, I just changed the zoom of the monitor resolution in windows preferences to 125%. And then in UE in Editor Preference, I've increase the UI scale of the engine. Then Dash is start.
