Heroic 2.17.0 Can't download GE-Proton to steam directory
OpenSUSE Tumbleweed, I have both heroic and steam installed via flatpak and the steam directory in heroic is /home/aurelius/.var/app/com.valvesoftware.Steam/.local/share/Steam/
Heroic has access to the com.valvesoftware.Steam directory in flatseal. It downloads all the parts and combines them into an archive but fails to extract with a makedir error.
Here's the log: https://0x0.st/8whW.log

in my experience, flatpaks don't play nice with other flatpaks' config folders

Hmm. This looks like an edge case I missed. I am on OpenSuse Tumbleweed as well but I don't use steam flatpak. I will try to reproduce and fix it if possible. Does heroic has write access to that folder?

Ye it has explicit rw access through flatseal
if I monitor the steam compatibility tools folder during the GE Proton download the parts all show up and combine into the archive, but then the archive disappears and the error is logged
everything also downloads fine if I uncheck the new option in settings and just use the normal heroic folder so I think the download/extract works normally
