Will this Uniqlo U crossbody from last year fit a 10.5" iPad comfortably?

I'm looking for an alternative to the popular round bag because my iPad won't fit, but I want something more compact and stable than the multipocket messenger. The dimensions are listed as 22.4" x 7.9" which would technically work for the 10.5" iPad which is 9.8" x 6.8", but it's hard to tell how much the bag curves and how much space is actually usable inside. If anybody has one, do you think this would be possible?

It'll fit fine, the top to bottom dimension is the only bit that us all close and the bag will flatten just fine I would be more concerned about padding in that bag though. Those are pretty loose and light, and would leave an iPad pretty exposed. The stiff iPad will also take away from the shape of that bag a bit too. In the photos you shared it hugs to body of the wearer. Now picture what it looks like with a 10" iPad in that bag I think the multipocket shoulder bag would be my bet if I were you - better padding and a natural shape that will conceal an iPad well

I actually already have the multipocket and while it is nice for both the ipad and with some finessing even my 15" mbp, I'm trying to find something less bulky that also might stay in place better and has the vibe of a sling rather than a satchel I'm not particularly worried about protection and could get a sleeve, but I see what you mean about the shape though, I guess it might not sit as snug either if you have a large rectangle inside as opposed to smaller objects that can wrap around to fit the shape of the body

I agree this would look weird with an iPad. I'd stick with bags with more structure
