Very slow upload speed after connecting to warp on both PC and Phone

When connected to Warp+ Unlimited, my Upload speed goes down by an insane amount. Tested on both devices my average is 900/880 without Warp and 780/105 with Warp enabled. I'm not sure if I'm the problem here or if there is something else going on. If anyone knows, I would be very grateful!

I made a somewhat interesting discovery If i change 1.1.1.1 with warp to just 1.1.1.1 my speeds are now perfectly fine or better than before... why is that. Paid Warp+ unlimited totally breaks my uploads speed. double checked with 1.1.1.1 + warp vs just 1.1.1.1. The results are consistent. 1.1.1.1 with warp tank my upload speeds by around 80%

Warp (and warp+) tunnels your traffic through cloudflares cdn. It enhances mostly network connection that are already poor - the better your internet is, the more useless warp(+) concerning speed. When you enable 1.1.1.1 only your dns will use cloudflare - so initial response times when visiting a website the first time after some time might be a few milliseconds faster. Speed should enhance when you're using mobile data or have bad internet quality. In case your internet is already fine and you don't need the additional warp(+) features it's not useful to enable warp

oh i see. this is exactly what im looking for How about just using 1.1.1.1? is that also useless for me? Just assume i know nothing. because thats basically it lol

"It depends". 1.1.1.1 is a dns-server, resolving domains (e.g. "google.com") to ip addresses, so your device knows who to talk with. Do you know the old telephone books, where you can lookup numbers of companies in your region? Thats what 1.1.1.1 does. If you don't use it, you use the one by your internet provider. Depending on where you are 1.1.1.1's server might be closer and faster then the one of your provider. Some provider log those "lookups" for ad and tracking porpuse, when not using them they can't do that. Cloudflare doesn’t track or sell your browsing data, unlike some internet providers. And it doesn't cost you anything

I have no idea, I never opened one and I just leave them after they are resolved. I guess you can add the "solved" badge, as https://discord.com/channels/595317990191398933/1377228596518850590 did
