There is some problem with your A B and C C doesn’t follow the last condition

thf will make solubility high

THF won't matter much here imo 'cause the "sorta carbanions" we have here are very similar in stability
Sephrina
Sephrina4mo ago
primary Grignard reagents tend to be less stable than secondary or tertiary Grignard reagents due to the steric hindrance this i think this will help somethin i found online yup it wont
Varun_Arora
Varun_Arora4mo ago
Ahmm really? Shouldn't the carbanion stability matter more? I mean ofc not a real carbanion But sort of
Sephrina
Sephrina4mo ago
well yh it is but it is askin about the stablity of grignard in que so
Varun_Arora
Varun_Arora4mo ago
Yeah the grignard has a carbanion moeity? Doesn't it? And also His A, B and C aren't correct C doesn't follow the last condition

yh i think we should revisit this que in morning
Varun_Arora
Varun_Arora4mo ago
Maybe yeah I'll give it just one more try though I'm doing it by hit and trial

I think it worked out @Sephrina can you please check this if possible?

Btw if the answer to more stable grignard is “B” as it’s written on the page @hardcoreisdead shared, then that matched up well with this one too (‘cause B is primary) Yeah all answers match up with this one
Sephrina
Sephrina4mo ago
yh i think this is right

I was well aware of this in exam but couldn't spare out time to actually try more combos And it wasn't specified whether E=F or not
Varun_Arora
Varun_Arora4mo ago
If it said F is a different alkene, that in itself implies that E isn’t equal to F
CorrodedCoffin
CorrodedCoffinOP4mo ago
Lol assumptions
Varun_Arora
Varun_Arora4mo ago
This was an “implication” tbh It said “another” alkene
CorrodedCoffin
CorrodedCoffinOP4mo ago
Damn must've taken some time to figure out this combination Yeahh
Varun_Arora
Varun_Arora4mo ago
It was in the 2nd try to be frank

Game of patience in exam then ig
Varun_Arora
Varun_Arora4mo ago
So not as much time as one would expect in such loads of combinations Yeah I’d agree
