Fix WorldPainter generated world issue
Hello. I have created a world with WorldPainter, and now, I want to see the result until... DH struggles to generate the LODs and floods the chat with this (see image)
It doesn't appear with 2.2 version, only with 2.3 version, and since I cannot downgrade in order to generate them (because it has 1.21.5 blocks in it), I have to manually load all the chunks, being the world enormous in order to do it
There is an option to ignore a thing (i dont remember) that should fix the problem, but it doesn't as the chat still floods and LODs don't generate
So, how do I fix this without manually loading the chunks?

the error

You can't
You need to wait for a fix either worldpainter or DH side
Something broken with the api maybe, because it happens with this version only
IIRC there are 2 things that cause this to happen:
1. WorldPainter always produced corrupted chunks with incorrect metadata, it isn't rare for this to create problems with DH even on older versions, but there were options added that tried to fix the corruption and they worked quite well.
2. Vanilla changed the code handling chunks that DH also use and it cosued the previous methods of fixing corruption not work anymore. This can be fixed DH side.
I might be nistaken when it comes to details, but that's the gist of it
Have you tried optimizing the world prior to loading? Optimizing the world is a vanilla feature, you can see it in the world selection menu.
Optumizing the world needs to be done before loading in with Distant Horizons the first time. Once the error spam happens, Distant Horizons can't operate on the world anymore.
Actually nope, I never thought about it. I finally generated the world, downgrading obviously to 2.2 (1.21.1), staying still and very tall to generate all the lods without loading chunks. Now it works fine
I also find this version generally slower than the previous one, even for non-worldpainter worlds. Maybe you the developers touched something in 2.3
