Summer Pants advice
Hi everyone,
Every summer I struggle with finding comfortable pants. Summers are hot and humid here with temps in the 80s. I just want to wear jeans and chinos all the time, but that doesn’t cut it. What kind of pants would you recommend? I hear a lot of recommendations for linen, but the wrinkles bother me.

trousers in sumer fabrics: tropical wool, lightweight chino fabric, linens, wool/silk/linen blends, etc. Wider cuts so they breath better and are comfortable
If the wrinkles are a concern, tech blends are a good option. Theory has their Neoteric and other lines, bonobos has their jetsetter/tech/golf lines, and uniqlo has airsense and airism. Lululemon does as well, and so does Outlier (prices on their website are high but they go for fairly cheap on their server's BST section). Many brands have them listed as travel and golf pants.
Natural options would be what beans listed above
Stay Cool, Look Sharp With Bonobos' Tech Trouser
Our smart-looking Tech Trousers take you from the office, to the golf course & dinner plans. Featuring temp-regulating fabric and a mild stretch for comfort.
Ah, I’m really not a fan of tech fabric. Just hate how it feels, thank you though!

How does tropical wool feel, like in your hand? Is it smooth, heavy etc
These are lyocell linen blend
light and kinda similar to hopsacks ig? It's a canvas weave and generally airy but there are tons of wool fabrics that are all unique

interesting. I like the idea of a blend
Seersucker in a dark color can work too
Ah gotcha. I’m sorry, I’m really new to nicer fabrics. I’ve never felt any wool besides scratchy old pendletons and tweed
I guess that’s almost pre wrinkled hehe
honestly this might be an instance where certain synthetics work well; uniqlo dress trousers are lightweight and in my experience don't have the weird plastic feeling next to skin (ref https://discord.com/channels/1116793467654381685/1116800072093532191/1374517859199352983)
I was pleasantly surprised last summer by how well some wool fabrics breathed—all about how loose the weave is. I thrift a lot so for me it was holding fabric up to the light and seeing which ones let more in. There’s a huge variation in woven wools. (And yeah they can be silky smooth.)
